Abstract

Gude beans (Cajanus cajan L.) are known to be used for herbal medicine. In this study, phytochemical screening of gude bean extract from maceration results was carried out using 70% ethanol solvent, which aimed to determine the class of compounds contained in gude bean extract. The results of phytochemical screening showed that 70% ethanol extract of gude beans (Cajanus cajan L.) contains saponin group compounds, flavonoids, polyphenols and tannins.
